i just wrote about my life between 11 and 12......i am now 48 years old.
it came back to me in huge drowning waves that i cannot describe.
the anger, depression, humiliation..... do any of us ever get to recover totally?

Sorry you're feeling the full emosion of it all today. Some days are worse that others arn't they? Just when we think we're ok and they can't touch us these old memories come flooding back. Have a good nights sleep, I truely hope you feel a bit better tomorrow.

i told her that i would not be going there again and she asked me if i go to church!!!!

Thanks JK. It amazes me how JW have no cencept of privacy. They think that they can discuss anything with anyone. I have calmed down a bit since yesterday.

Her husband is an elder! She was always one those nosey types that just could help putting her nose where it doesn't belong. Her daughter went overseas for a while after high school and came back pregnant. I would have thought that that would have made her think twice before gossiping. Some people just never learn do they?

I told her that I would not be going there again and she asked me if I go to church!!!! What kind of question is that for a JW to ask. I'm sure it's my in laws fishing for information. This women has not spoken to me for years and now she wants to know if I go to church!! What the hell is wrong with these people. I cannot believe how angry this has made me.
i'm not a big fan of surgery.
i always exhaust all non-surgical options before doing it.
i know enough about medicine to know that surgery is effectively a controlled injury... and that makes me nervous.
The amazing thing about this whole experience is that I can already breath better than before the surgery... and I've still got all sorts of packing, stitches, tubes and other medical equipment stuffed in my nose. I can only imagine how clear my nose will be once the Dr removes everything!
Yip. Thats exactly how I felt after the op. Yes, the sinus rinse is gross!!! Cannot believe the stuff that comes out of your nose. lol I think I've just made a whole lot of people feel sick.
As I said in my previous post. It's been two years and I can still breathe through my nose.
now guess when.. .

I never sat with my folks and always sat with one of my friends. We use to write notes to each other while pretending to take notes of the talk. When I had my first child I use to take him outside to look at the flowers and run around a bit. There were a few of us doing this so I would chat to the other moms. An elder once came to tell us to keep our kids quiet cause they could be heard inside the hall. We were so busy chatting we didn't realise our kids were playing so loudly.
We stopped going to meetings when my son was about 5 years old. He told me during the week that all he really remembers from going to the meetings is that I would pack him a sandwich and some sweets (our meeting was at lunch time on a Sunday). He was also the only child that was allowed to sit on a blanket on the floor and eat and play with some toys. All the other dub kids had to sit still and listen.

i've finally finished and will now have my master's degree in nursing!!!
i feel like i've been in school for my entire life, but it was well worth it!.

Had the same op about 2 years ago. It was the best thing I could have done. Unless you cannot beathe you have no idea what a pain it is to struggle for air. I had to learn how to breathe through my nose after the op cause I was so used to breathing through my mouth. Recovery was not so bad if I had to I would do it again. All the best with your op. Enjoy the break from work and take it easy.
